The Rename Images Screen gives you the option to rename the images with a more descriptive name if you wish.
The ability to rename the images is extremely useful for batch renaming Digital Camera images because the devices tend to name the images with no descriptive names like IMG001.jpg etc.
To rename single or multiple images choose the "Use a common name and index for each image" option.
In the Name: field, enter the name you would like the images to commence with.
If you would like to pad out the index number of the renamed images with Zero's, then place a tick in the box and select the number of Zero's you would like to use by pressing either the up or down arrows from the Places box.
An example of what the final image name will look like is displayed on the screen under the Example caption.
If you do not wish to rename the images, make sure the "Do not rename images" option is selected and press the Next button to move onto the following step.
