Search Options

Use the Search Options screen to specify search criteria and help narrow down your search results. Any results found will be listed in the Search Results screen.

 

notes Note: A maximum of 350 results can be returned with each search. If you are having trouble finding a particular cover try changing your search criteria to narrow your search and limit the results even further.

Media Type

 

Select a media type from the list that you wish to search for. The number of available media types depends on the version and edition of DVD Cover Searcher that you are using.

 

Search By Properties

 

Use the Search By Properties section to search for covers based on their properties rather than their date of addition.

 

You can use any combination of the following available options to narrow the search down to what you are looking for:

 

•Title - Use the Title drop down to select how to search for covers based on title. Enter  text into the text box to narrow the results based on the cover title.
 
notes Tip: Use a comma (,) between words to search for multiple titles as once. For example, entering "batman,spider-man" will return results for both Batman and Spider-Man covers.
 
•Type - Use the Type drop down to narrow the results based on the cover type such as Disc Label, DVD Cover, Jewel Case, etc.
 
•Region/Format - Use the Region/Format drop down to narrow the results based on the cover region or format such as NTSC, PAL, or a specific region code.
 
•Language - Use the Language drop down to narrow the results based on the cover language.
 
•Source - Use the Source drop down to narrow the results based on the cover source such as Scan or Custom.
 

Search By Date

 

Use the Search By Date section to search for covers based on their date of addition rather than their properties.

 

The following options are available:

 

•New On This Date - This will search for covers of the selected media type that were added on the date you select on the calendar.
 
•New Today - This will search for covers of the selected media type that were added on the day you perform the search.
 
•New Within The Past 7 Days - This will search for covers of the selected media type that were added within the past seven days.
 
•New This Month - This will search for covers of the selected media type that were added during the current month.
